Here’s what you’ll be doing
We are looking for a passionate and experienced MYP educator to join our team in the role of Manager, Learning and Engagement. In this role, you will spearhead the design and creation of high quality, meaningful content and professional development events. You’ll play a pivotal role in determining how we engage our global community of MYP educators and school leaders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Event and Content Strategy:
- Create a comprehensive events and content strategy that addresses the needs, interests, and challenges of MYP educators.
- Design and implement professional development opportunities that are inspiring, actionable, and tailored to the specific needs of MYP educators.
- Event Concept Development and Execution:
- Develop themes and source speakers for 6-8 events every year, ensuring relevance and appeal.
- Distribution and Project Management:
- Review and refine distribution copies for emails, ads, social media, and posts on groups and forums to maximise reach and engagement.
- Oversee the overall project management of MYP Learn, including website updates and content alignment to strategic goals.
- Collaborative Efforts:
- Partner closely with the sales, design, marketing, and product teams to ensure the MYP content roadmap aligns with Toddle’s big-picture goals and vision.
- Work in coordinate with the core event and Learn teams to ensure all initiatives reflect the interests and needs of MYP educators.
- Build and maintain a network of relationships with thought leaders, educators, school leaders, and presenters in the MYP to support event quality and relevance.
- Research and Development:
- Conduct surveys, focus groups, and interviews to identify the evolving interests of MYP educators, ensuring that all content and events are grounded in real needs.
- Stay updated on developments in the MYP to ensure all resources and content are aligned.
- Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with freelance contributors and curriculum consultants to review and provide feedback on resources, ensuring high quality and relevance.
- Commit to continuous self-development in all relevant areas to enhance the quality and impact of Toddle’s MYP offerings.
Is this someone that looks like you?
- Experience: 5+ years of experience as an MYP educator, as a teacher or a curriculum coordinator
- A mindset for using user-research to design strategies for community engagement
- Ability to think of the big picture as well as pay attention to the small details
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Humility and willingness to learn new things – a lifelong learner
- Ready to work in a fast-paced environment
