Here’s what you’ll be doing

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive IT Administrator with 1 to 3 years of experience to support and manage our company’s IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will handle a variety of IT-related tasks, including hardware setup, iOS installation, and troubleshooting. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of all IT systems and assisting users with technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide first-line technical support to employees, User Management: Assist in the creation and management of user accounts, access permissions, and authentication for various systems.
  • Resolving hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
  • Software Installation: Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems on user devices.Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes, system configurations, and support requests.
  • Experience with backup and recovery systems, ensuring data protection.
  • Basic understanding of system security protocols and practices.
  • Inventory Management: Track IT assets, including hardware and software inventory, and assist in procurement and asset management.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with IT ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Familiarity with managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configurations.

Is this someone that looks like you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in IT support, administration, or a related field (internships or co-op experience considered).
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with staff and vendors.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
